I got my self lost from the Lord and I found myself on that long black train for several years. With the Lords wonderful love, kindness, grace and power I've climb off of it. I've given myself over to Christ again. If your lost, or sad I beg you please turn your face to God and lay your worries and cares at his feet. Even if you've been gone for years or denied he even exist, I want you to know, he loves you and wants you with him. God bless you all!

This is one of my favorite songs. My ex-boyfriend and father of my oldest child called me one night to teach him that prayer of salvation. About 15 months later his alcoholism killed him around the time this song came out. I used to pray for him all the time long before he died. I hope he's saved.

I always thought I would always be the guy that would be very depressed everyday forever. And for a while i was. And when I was 11 I had schizophrenia. Now I have autism. And I always never like going to church. But one on my teachers gave me a bible. And I found a church that teaches me about stuff I always wanted to know more about god. I've been baptized twice. Now I live a happy life. I have friends. And its all thanks to my teachers and this song. God bless you Josh Turner. :-)

My grandfather passed away 04/22/2021, four days ago. This was his favorite song. He sang this as a special at church for as long as I can remember. At his funeral, on Saturday, they played a recording of him singing this. Rest easy, Paw Paw. We won’t forget you or your love of this song.

Jesus speaks to me through this song about the devil will use the things of this world that you like or is your weakness you can't seem to shake but remember lord Jesus is the beginning and the end there is victory in the mighty name of Jesus christ if we just turn to him and not anything of this world bc it's just temporary!! Praise lord Jesus my king my savior my everything Hallelujah 🙏🙌❤ Jesus loves you all so very very much God bless you all!!
