SAFETY BRIEFING.

  • Wear a helmet. Despite recent advances in medical science, brains still cannot be mended nor replaced.
  • Wear gloves or mitts. Hands often hit the ground first. Cuts and grazes invite infection and a hospital visit.
  • Wear eye protection, it only takes a twig or thorn to lose an eye. Crud catchers are a good idea in mucky weather.
  • When downhilling, for your own protection, allow plenty of space behind the rider in front.
  • Bring a bare minimum emergency tool kit and a spare inner tube.
  • Breakdowns are a bore. Plan not to have any by ensuring your bike is in perfect working order.
  • Punctures are also tedious. You can minimise them by fitting latex tubes, slime tubes or running tubeless tyres.

Kartcher KB3030 pressure washer

Got a great little pressure washer for sale if anyone is interested, ideal for washing off that mud :) Works fine, had it for about 5 years and used it only a couple of times per year for washing the patio. £40 ONO

Re: Kartcher KB3030 pressure washer

I'm quite interested.
Would you be able to come over and demo it on my patio, car and bike?
I'd like to know how versatile it is.

Does it come in any other colours?

Thanks

DF

Don't bother replying.
Oh, you didn't...
I managed to find one in an actual shop, in the right colour, and the salesperson assured me I could buy it with absolutely no pressure whatsoever.
I'm looking forward to trying it out on my collection of rare butterflies.

Paul, I assume I'm way too late, but have you still got this? Our patio looks pretty shit and I've been meaning to do something about it for ages!
