Hi everyone, just wanted your feedback on an issue I'm having.

I graduated bartending school last month and worked my first shift at a local bar a few days ago. Had an issue with a few men who asked for my phone number and got angry when I politely/humorously turned them down.

Seeing that this will be my regular spot, I do not want to turn the regulars off. Any ideas on how to handle such situations? Should I just get an extra phone and give them that number?

I would lean towards this...
"I'm very flattered but I was told I could be fired for giving out personal information to patrons and I REALLY would like to remain employed!"

Then go tell the boss so they can back yer play!
