my Dads (Gordon Harrison) service

My Dad did his national service in Palestine, being in the RASC and being assigned to the 17th Field Ambulance. I am going to write a story on British forces in Palestine, and anyone who can give me info would be greatly appreciated. My dad, Gordon, was from Derby.
