Is anyone still active on here?


My grandad passed away about 7 years ago aged 89.

I wish I'd found this site before. I have his wings, blazer with para badge and some old photographs from Palestine but I would love to get his service record.

Who do you wish to contact ? Anyone still active on here?

Hi, my dad served in Palestine too in the 3rd Parachute Brigade between 1946-48.
I too have old photos and would love to know where they were taken. I think he was in Haifa and Tel Aviv.
I had a reply from the daughter of the chap (William Watts) who set up this site so it is at least being monitored.
I guess the are fewer and fewer paras around.
I have requested my dads service record from the MOD, at the moment records are being transferred to the National Archives which is slowing things down.
