HANK WILLIAMS: LOST HIGHWAY June 21 - June 24 2018
HANK WILLIAMS: LOST HIGHWAY is the spectacular musical biography of the legendary
singer-songwriter frequently mentioned alongside Louis Armstrong, Robert Johnson,
Duke Ellington, Elvis and Bob Dylan as one of the great innovators of American
popular music. The play follows Williams’ rise from his beginnings on the Louisiana
Hayride to his triumphs on the Grand Ole Opry to his eventual self-destruction at
twenty-nine. Along the way, we are treated to indelible songs like
“I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” “Move It on Over” and “Hey, Good Lookin’,”
which are given fresh and profound resonance set in the context of Williams’ life.

Hank Williams – The Lonesome Tour Starring Jason Petty
Tuesday, October 30, 2018
Direct from the historic stages of Nashville, Tennessee comes “Hank Williams – The Lonesome Tour”
starring Jason Petty in a show that will instantly transform you back to the early 1950s when
Hank Williams Senior was the biggest name in country music anywhere.
When Jason Petty first performed the role of Hank at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium in 1996,
little did he imagine that some 20 years later he would still be portraying this legendary man in
his own highly acclaimed show.
As his research on Hank progressed, Petty met and became friends with Williams’ friends, family
members, musicians, and fellow Grand Ole Opry stars. They took him into their confidence and shared
intimate details of this legend’s life and career. From the good times to the hard times, Jason
listened and began to understand this man like no other. Now be brings that intimate story to life
in this new one-man tribute – “Hank Williams – The Lonesome Tour.”
Don Helms, Hank’s best friend and steel guitar player, very simply stated, “Jason’s singing of
Williams’ classic songs is the best there’s ever been.” This feeling, combined with his natural
ability to tell the stories of Hank’s life and career with southern charm and down-home humour,
has given this show rave reviews across North America.
Sit back and relax and let Jason Petty transform you back to another day and time ... the days of
Hank Williams. This will be an evening the audience will never forget.
