First of all, the antichrist works closely with a false prophet in Revelation 13 who performs miracles. Since Pope Francis has died, he cannot be the "False Prophet" of Revelation. Therefore, identifying someone who fulfills this specific role, and performs supernatural signs for Obama is problematic.

The enigmatic description of the Beast in Revelation 17:8 ("who once was, and now is not, and yet will come") is increasingly difficult to apply to Obama's known life and career trajectory.

According to specific interpretation identifying the seven kings of Revelation 17 as US Presidents starting with Reagan, Obama is the 5th king, succeeded by Trump, Biden, and then Trump again. The 8th king who appears in this sequence is clearly not Obama.

The antichrist will wield significant power during the tribulation. As of April 2025, Obama does not hold any position of executive authority, and lacks a specific path back to power.

The 22nd Amendment prevents him from running for US President again, closing off a conventional path back to that specific seat of power often associated with potential antichrist candidates.

He is not currently holding or seeking leadership within major international bodies (UN, NATO, G20) that are potential platforms for the antichrist's rise to global dominance.

Revelation 17 describes ten kings giving their power and authority to the Beast. This implies the antichrist will already be in a position to receive such unified global backing during his reign, a scenario that does not match Obama's present standing.

The Obama Administration's focus on nuclear arms reduction treaties (like New START) and drawing down troops from major wars does not match the biblical depiction of the antichrist as a figure of immense military power ("Who can wage war against it?" - Rev 13:4) who leads armies in conquest and battle (Rev 19:19).

The antichrist's activities are generally placed within the future tribulation period. As this period is not widely considered to have begun, and Obama's presidency is past, fitting him into this future timeline seems highly improbable.

Of course we should always focus on Christ. But I believe the antichrist is someone who is now in the process of rising to power or already in a position of power to be given backing from other global powers and institutions, according to Daniel and Revelation.

"O" could return as POTUS if a law is passed that throws out presidential term limits or if he runs for UN Secretary General, NATO, etc.... but please understand that it would take time for all of that to materialize, and not happen anytime soon.

As it presently stands, an outsider (or someone out of power) just can't return on the world scene and immediately take over the stage. The world's political systems do not function that way, even in times of chaos. As you see, this situation requires someone rising to power or someone already in power.

*** Could things unfold very soon? Yes, they could.

*** Could it take much longer than we think? Yes, that is also possibility, as well. I don't think anyone truly knows where we are on the timeline right now.

Just like 2020, everyone was convinced everything would happen then. It was a test run, but as you see, we are still here 5 years later. Will we be here in another 5 years? I don't know.

The point is, when we hold onto preconcieved notions, they can cause a stumbling block on one's walk with the LORD. AL is keeping an open mind about this, praying fervently, but also thinking logically, practically, and rationally, as well. After all, God gave you those gifts for discernment to guard your hearts and your minds.
