Hey AL, these are only my opinions about antichrist and false prophet.

Let's start with the false prophet perspective first.

First of all, the antichrist works closely with a false prophet in Revelation 13 who performs miracles. Everyone assumed that Pope Francis was going to be the false prophet, just as Obama would absolutely 100% be the antichrist. Since, Francis died he cannot be the false prophet of Revelation. Therefore, identifying someone who fits the criteria for this specific role, and performs supernatural signs for Obama is problematic for a number of reasons.

Note: The false prophet may not even be a catholic pope.

Let’s pause for a moment and consider that all of the billionaires in the Trump administration are worth at least $450 billion combined – that’s higher than the GDP of 175 countries.

Trump and his cronies have the kind of power and influence to crash global economies through instability, war, and then usher in a new economic system.

According to Revelation 13, the false prophet causes the world’s inhabitants to receive a mark on the right hand or forehead in order to participate in the new world order economic system. The false prophet also does “great miracles” such as causing fire to fall from the sky.

IMHO, I see Elon Musk as a strong contender for the false prophet role, despite what’s going on in the news. Elon is the world’s richest man and easily has the means to engineer and possibly enforce a new global currency tied to his “Neuralink” digital implants.

His Space X Project and other technologies could seemingly cause “fire to fall from the sky” whether it’s real or blue beam holograms. This makes a lot more sense than some stuffy old pope doing Hail Mary’s and the usual Holy Rosary rituals.

The enigmatic description of the Beast in Revelation 17:8 ("who once was, and now is not and yet will come") is increasingly difficult to apply to Obama's known life and career trajectory. According to popular speculation, identifying the seven kings of Revelation 17 as US Presidents starting with Reagan, Obama would be the 5th king, succeeded by Trump, then Biden, and then Trump again. The 8th king who appears in this sequence is not Obama. It is clearly Trump.

Yet, people on this forum and other Christian communities are Trump apologists and for some reason they cannot seem to wrap their heads around this. They want to completely omit Biden from the picture as a possible 7th king who remained for a short space. Logically speaking, you cannot add or omit anyone in the sequence. You have to look at the situation objectively.

As of April 2025, Obama does not hold any position of executive authority, and lacks a specific path back to power. The 22nd Amendment prevents him from running for US President again, closing off a conventional path back to that specific seat of power often associated with potential antichrist candidates. He is not currently holding or seeking leadership within major international bodies (UN, NATO, G20) that are potential platforms for the antichrist's rise to global dominance.

Now Revelation chapter 17 describes ten kings giving their power and authority to the beast. This implies the antichrist will already be in a position of great authority, or in the process of rising to power to receive such unified global backing during his reign. This scenario does not match Obama's present standing.

The Obama Administration's focus on nuclear arms reduction treaties (New START) and drawing down troops from major wars does not match the biblical depiction of the antichrist as a figure of immense military power ("Who can wage war against it?" - Rev 13:4) who leads armies in conquest and battle (Rev 19:19).

The antichrist's activities are generally placed within the coming future tribulation period. As this time period is yet to begin, and Obama's presidency has lapsed 8.5 years ago, fitting him into this future timeline seems rather challenging.

Now let us suppose that "Obama" could return as POTUS if a law is passed that throws out presidential term limits or if he runs for UN Secretary General, NATO, etc. Please understand that it would take time for all of that to materialize, and realistically it cannot just happen anytime soon.

An outsider (someone out of power for 8+ years) cannot simply return and immediately take the world stage. Political and societal systems do not function that way, even in times of chaos. So you as you see, this situation best fits the

profile of someone rising to power or someone who has already risen to position of power at that particular point in time.

Does anyone know who antichrist and false prophet are with 100% surety? No they don't.

Can things unfold very soon? Yes, they can.

Can it also take much longer than we think? Yes, that is a possibility, as well. I don't think anyone truly knows where we are on the timeline right now. For example, In 2020, everyone was convinced that rapture and tribulation would happen then. Yet, we are still here 5 years later. Will we be here in another 5 years? I don't know.

The point is, when we hold onto preconceived notions as 100% absolute truth, they can cause a stumbling block on one's walk with the LORD and a stumbing block with truth because we were focused on the wrong things.

It is best to keep an open mind about this, praying fervently, but also thinking logically, practically, and rationally, as well. After all, God blessed us with those gifts for discernment to guard our hearts and minds.

The 8th king is Trump
Even if Obama rule again he shall become the 5th and 9th. Which is not matching the 8th king of Revelation 17.
