SAFETY BRIEFING.

  • Wear a helmet. Despite recent advances in medical science, brains still cannot be mended nor replaced.
  • Wear gloves or mitts. Hands often hit the ground first. Cuts and grazes invite infection and a hospital visit.
  • Wear eye protection, it only takes a twig or thorn to lose an eye. Crud catchers are a good idea in mucky weather.
  • When downhilling, for your own protection, allow plenty of space behind the rider in front.
  • Bring a bare minimum emergency tool kit and a spare inner tube.
  • Breakdowns are a bore. Plan not to have any by ensuring your bike is in perfect working order.
  • Punctures are also tedious. You can minimise them by fitting latex tubes, slime tubes or running tubeless tyres.

Thetford summer Enduro

registration is open, 6 8 or 10 hour

Anyone going to have a go ??

I might do solo but is anyone interested in making up a team ??

just got to convince the boss as its the weekend before our wedding !!!

Re: Thetford summer Enduro

Hi Earl

I shall be entering. Planning on riding as a pair with a rider from Tunstall I got chatting to during the Winter series. Not sure what time to do yet, but the 6 hour is looking inviting.

Good luck with she who must be obeyed!

Paul

Re: Thetford summer Enduro

I could be tempted to ride in a pair for the 6 or 8 (or 10?) hour, but it is the weekend I was planning to go up to Yorkshire for a week's riding and then the start of the Tour de France. I don't have a proper plan yet though, so I could do this race and then go up after the weekend, I'll have to think about it

Re: Thetford summer Enduro

Hey, I could be keen for a team of one size or another. I prefer to haul ass for a little while rather than grind away for ages, in general!

Re: Thetford summer Enduro

When is it?

I might be keen for a solo effort

Ill also be in Birmingham/Yorkshire just before the start of the tour

Need a bike. Haven't fixed my puncture problem. Tubeless was a failure. New tyres en-route
