SAFETY BRIEFING.

  • Wear a helmet. Despite recent advances in medical science, brains still cannot be mended nor replaced.
  • Wear gloves or mitts. Hands often hit the ground first. Cuts and grazes invite infection and a hospital visit.
  • Wear eye protection, it only takes a twig or thorn to lose an eye. Crud catchers are a good idea in mucky weather.
  • When downhilling, for your own protection, allow plenty of space behind the rider in front.
  • Bring a bare minimum emergency tool kit and a spare inner tube.
  • Breakdowns are a bore. Plan not to have any by ensuring your bike is in perfect working order.
  • Punctures are also tedious. You can minimise them by fitting latex tubes, slime tubes or running tubeless tyres.

Poor quality seventies meat product often found in MPFC episodes.

Hi Pastey,
Any chance of getting rid of the above, it's named me as a source of it (I know some might agree) but this is serious, it won't even let me be rude to Paul anymore!

Re: Poor quality seventies meat product often found in MPFC episodes.

Hi Duncan,

I've deleted them and banned the IP address from the forum.

When you say that you are named as the "source" what does that mean?

Cheers

Tom

Tom, I think Duncan means that it stopped him posting once as it said he was spam. It did the same to me too.

Should we turn on captcha image for a bit as there appears to be more again. Or will that be too annoying?

Re: Poor quality seventies meat product often found in MPFC episodes.

The meat product is far more annoying than captcha would be...

I rarely post from a mobile, though, so I don't know how much more annoying it would be to use it from a phone than a computer?

Pastey will tidy them up once he's sold some shoes.
