SAFETY BRIEFING.

  • Wear a helmet. Despite recent advances in medical science, brains still cannot be mended nor replaced.
  • Wear gloves or mitts. Hands often hit the ground first. Cuts and grazes invite infection and a hospital visit.
  • Wear eye protection, it only takes a twig or thorn to lose an eye. Crud catchers are a good idea in mucky weather.
  • When downhilling, for your own protection, allow plenty of space behind the rider in front.
  • Bring a bare minimum emergency tool kit and a spare inner tube.
  • Breakdowns are a bore. Plan not to have any by ensuring your bike is in perfect working order.
  • Punctures are also tedious. You can minimise them by fitting latex tubes, slime tubes or running tubeless tyres.

SUMMER RUNSLIST

Stop your whinging - it's here.

Had computer problems hence only posting now, very late and it's my bed-time.

Hope you like it - we do. The Sunday rides can be populated once someone thinks of a good few rides and cafe stops.

Laters,

PT

Re: SUMMER RUNSLIST

Well done guys nice to see some different pubs so some promising new routes to look forward to (I was getting a bit worried that blondie in the Green Man thought we all had a thing for her )

Re: SUMMER RUNSLIST

Cant help feeling this photo ought to have a caption along the lines of
"Jewelry jewelry jewelry...oho oho oho, now then now then"
But I believe that it might be "incorrect" to suggest such a theme?

ON ANOTHER NOTE
Hi Chris, is your boiler due for a service?? whoar whoar whoar....

On a bit of a downer I think Frederico the Hamster is on her last legs, poor thing. She's got that looking into your eyes with a blank expression thing, she's a good girl!! Hours of fun for a few grammes of cereal.
Telly watching will be quiteter but the living room will miss it's favorite inhabitant..

When I die and leave behind
This earth I love
These trees, this sky,
The pounding sea,
The yearly hope of spring,
Cry not for me,
Rejoice.
My soul has wings
And in it's freedom sings.

Re: SUMMER RUNSLIST
