Hi my dad passed away ywo weeks ago. His name was Stuart Roy Arnold. Lance Corporal Arnold was involved with Bomb Disposal. He blew up bridges and without going on too much I was hoping someone on here may have known him. I think his first name was spelt Stewart although it was really Stuart, most people knew him as Roy. If you know him I would love to hear from you

I suggest that you Click on OBTAINING SERVICE RECORDS - on the In dex page of my website - and follow the intructions to obtain a copy of your father's Service Record from the Ministry of Defence.
This will tell you which ubits your father served with.
If he served with 3 Para please get in touch with me again and if you have any suitable photos, taken in Palestine during the period 1945-48 I shall be pleased to add them to my website.
