Albinos suffer from (among other things!) vision defects and the bright sunlight of Gambia exasterbates the problem.

You can buy sunglasses for as little as 50 dalasis -- if you bargain hard!!!. So should you meet, or even walk past, an albino, give him a pair of these cheap shades. (I'm not suggesting you give your expensive Raybans.)

i took a bag full with sunglasses to Banjul about 6 years ago. I gave every albino I saw on the streets of Banjul a pair of sunglasses, when i returned the next day none of them had the glasses on, I suspect without glasses they look more pittyfull and get more money
